Ate ice cream on a diet ..?
Posted on Jan 29, 2010 under Ice Cream diet |I’m 5 foot 6, 116 pounds and planning to lose the last 4 pounds. (Lost 20 pounds in total)
And Im doing it slowly and steadily, I have until summer anyway (thats when I’ll proper show off my body)
I do 50 minutes of exercise per day and eat heathily and drink lots of water
However today, on this occasion, I had some ice cream, and cant help feeling very guilty.
Is this okay on a diet to treat yourself?
You shouldn’t feel guilty. Having the occasional treat on a diet is fine. In fact, it’s actually a good idea, as you’re less likely to feel deprived and end up craving it even more, eventually leading to binging. As long as you’re generally eating healthily, the odd treat will do you no harm whatsoever. X

Totally ok! Especially when you’re doing so good so far, one ice-cream can’t get all that weight back, can it? Believe me, I’ve done some calculations. You’d have to stuff yourself like crazy two days in a row to gain half a pound.
Actually, the ice-cream won’t even have to matter. If one day you overeat and feel really, really guilty, the next day just eat only apples and you’ll have made up for it already. Congrats on everything and good luck!
