Good smoothie recipe?
So I am looking for a smoothie recipe that is very easy to make with very few…very, very few… ingredients. I have ice-cubes (haha), vanilla ice-cream, milk, sugar, and a few other ingredients. Now I am basically just looking for a semi-healthy smoothie that is very easy to make in my blender. Whoever answers first with a good smoothie recipe gets best answer. Thanks, Alyx

ripe medium banana
1 cup vanilla low-fat or nonfat yogurt
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup cracked ice
1 cup sliced fresh peaches or banana slices
Preparation:
Cut banana into chunks.
Put banana and yogurt in a blender with peaches, orange juice and wheat germ.
Add cracked ice.
Blend until smooth.
Serve immediately in tall glass.
Garnish with peach or banana slices and sprinkle 2 tsp. wheat germ on top.

I would just put yogurt and some fruit in the blender.

forget the ice cubes & use vanilla ice cream + any fresh or canned fruit blend in a blender & top w/ fresh fruit for some of the smoothies u may want to add honey to sweeten the flavor not sugar.

PEANUT BUTTER BANANA MILKSHAKE
1 whole sliced banana
2 heaping tablespoons peanut butter
4 scoops ice cream
250 ml milk (slightly more than 1 cup)
Place all ingredients in the blender. Start on crush to make sure the banana pieces and the peanut butter blend together. Put the blender on smoothie until the milkshake is nice and smooth.

Try this.
Take away the ice cream and milk. Add in various berries or fruits. It doesn't matter how much. Then blend in 1/2 teaspoon (or 1/4 teaspoon) of sugar to sweeten it.
About one glass full should boost your energy level. They're very good and not only energizing, but also very cooling. In these incoming summer days, a mixed berry smoothie should make you energized and cool you off.

I thought it would be fun to have a list of Baskin-Robbins' Smoothie flavors and I've added a couple of recipes. You can experiment adding frozen yogurt or ice cream in place of some of the ice cubes.

1 oz dark rum
1 oz banana brandy
1/4 tsp orange peel grated
GARNISH
3 slices banana
3 sprigs mint
3 whole strawberries
Place bananas and strawberries in a bowl and freeze. Remove after frozen and place in a blender. Add skim milk, yogurt, orange peel, and sugar. Blend at medium speed until thick. Add rum and brandy. Pour into a chilled champagne saucer. Arrange strawberries, banana slices, and mint on long toothpicks. Rotate into drink and serve.

1 cup berry flavored juice
1/2 cup crushed ice
