Does anyone have a good recipe for a fruit smoothie made with yogurt instead of ice cream?
I’m trying to be a little healthier and thought this would be a great treat.
Fruit Smoothie Ingredients:
1 yogurt (preferablly strawberry)
strawberries (1 cup)
3/4 ice
1 and a half bananas
blend it up and there u go!!!
another one is:
peach yogurt
strawberries (1 cup)
1 teaspooon powdered sugar
3/4 ice
both yummy
feel free to change the flavors or add different ones!!!

Take some fruits you love and put them in the blender… and put some vanilla yougrt in it… i say 3-5 cups of this yougrt. then yeah blend it!!

the secret to a great smoothie is fruit nectar…
you of course use ice and a big spoonful of vanilla yogurt, about a half a cup of nectar or even orange juice, and the fruit of your choice.
i just got a smoothie blender for christmas so im still trying to get it right myself but that seems to work really well for me.

all the answers before mine are wrong. you need ice and some sort of juice and fruit and yogurt for a true smoothie.
substitute peach yogurt and frozen peach halves. 2 percent milk or skim, some tiny bit of vanilla extract. some crushed ice.

you just use yogurt instead of ice cream… it’ll be a bit thinner, but the yogurt ones usually are.

10 oz. cranberry juice
2 cups frozen blueberries
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 cup raspberry sherbert

It’s easy. Just dump one or two containers of your favorite yogurt in the blender, add pieces of fruit and a handful of ice cubes. Mix this up with a spoon then blend until the ice cubes disappear.

My hubby loves smoothies
I usually use a frozen banana (I put the old black bananers in the freezer always for banana bread and smoothies-it saves waste) and any kind of berry (frozen or fresh-mind you that fresh strawberrys always seem more seedy then the frozen so maybe do this on its own first and strain)
Also orange is wonderful (again consider straining)
Try TOFU~! I swear to you that it tastes GREAT in a smooth and is a wonderful substitute for milk,ice cream and yogurt…but of course yogurt is fine, if you can freeze your yogurt! even better
